Abdullah Dawood Akhawala - Chairman/Founder Partner

• He began his career in 1965 with Ford Rhodes Robson Morrow, Chartered Accountants (a member firm of Ernst & Young International).

• Mr. Akhawala is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, having been admitted as an Associate Member in 1967 and a Fellow Member in 1972.

• He is also a Fellow Member of the Karachi Tax Bar Association and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
  

• With nine years of experience in various senior-level positions in the public and government sectors, Mr. Akhawala brings over 51 years of post-qualification expertise.

• He possesses comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, handling and finalization of tax assessments, as well as representation at appeal forums.

• A seasoned Chartered Accountant with more than  30 years  of experience which includes 24 years of post-qualification experience in Big4 Audit Firm with an excellent Assurance and Audit exposure, grasp on Audit Methodology practiced by global professional firms.

• Well versed with the Income Tax and Sales Tax laws of Pakistan with excellent command over International Accounting and Auditing framework (Accounting and Auditing Standards and IFRS).

• Had associated with Deloitte, Pakistan as a Director Audit & Assurance with an exposure to lead audits and special assignments across different industry sectors .

• Having vast experience in managing human resources which includes recruiting and training of newly inducted trainees, and contributing actively in Business Development activities

• Lead audits and special assignments of various large, medium, public and private sector companies across a variety of industrial sectors. Audit and Special Assignments include statutory audits, internal audits, sales tax audit, due diligence, financial statement analysis, share valuation exercise and recommend fair value of shares both for minority as well as strategic shareholders.

Mubbashir Amin - Partner
